Otto, obwohl du mich nie mochtest und ich es dir als Schwiegersohn leider nie recht machen konnte. Ich, vorallem das letzte Jahr, auch noch ein schlechter Ehemann für deine geliebte, wundervolle Tochter Julia war. Habe ich immer zu dir hinauf geschaut und dich bewundert und mir gewünscht, ...mit euch die Familie zu haben, die mir durch den frühen Tod meines Vaters verloren ging. Ich liebte und liebe deine Tochter und euch über alles, ihr seit in meinem Herzen und ich weiß, meinen Kindern geht es gut bei euch. Otto, so sage auch auf diese Weise Ade zu dir und es tut mir alles so leid. 

Lieber und in Erinnerung bleibender Otto: 

It has been a pleasure to know you all these years and you will be dearly missed specially now that we no longer will exchange WhatsApp messages.

I hope truly you have found peace and happiness wherever you are now.

You are a light of love and joy. We wish you much happiness and peace in heaven, your new home.

I (Lizette) always heard my mother, aunts and uncles speak of you with love and happiness. When I met you, Isolde, Roland and Isobel in 1980, I understood why. You and Isolde welcomed me with open arms. That visit with you was a highlight of my trip to Europe.

When you and Isode came to California, it was wonderful to see you again. And sweet and funny to see how happy you were riding Ray's recumbent tandem with him and discovering California with Isolde!

You'll always be our treasured uncle.
