Today, the translation team is in mourning.

On January 6, 2022, I joined the translation team, and the first person I saw was Lars. Many of the happiest and most intense memories in my life as a volunteer were experienced with him. Although at times he delivered both good and bad news, and even though I made mistakes during my life as a volunteer translator, Lars was always there to support me, correct me, and encourage me. This morning, I woke up and saw the news. At that moment, I thought it couldn't be real, I couldn't believe it. A cold shock flooded my mind and spirit upon hearing such terrible news. I never imagined I would receive that news, despite Lars's low activity on his social media. I really can't help but wonder: How? Why? When? Questions that will never be answered but lead to one undeniable truth: A great man, a role model, has left this world, and there's nothing we can do. He has passed away, taking a part of us with him. My condolences to Lars's family, even if they may not see this, and if they do: may God help you through this difficult time.
